Way back in the 17th century Sir Isaac Newton brought fame to the humble apple when it fell from the tree and set the physicist off on his journey to discover the principles of gravity. Here at Fuller’s, four centuries later, we think it’s time for this classic English fruit to make a comeback.
Our passion for top quality refreshment took us to a quiet corner of the Looe valley in south east Cornwall, where we discovered Westnorth Manor Farm. This is where Andy Atkinson started pressing apples in 1999 to produce the most natural and delicious ciders. The business went from strength to strength and in 2013 Fuller’s acquired the ‘Cornish Orchards’ brand. With Andy still at the helm supported by his 25 hardworking staff we can now offer our customers an extensive range of premium varieties of the traditional Cornish brew.
Fermented from a blend of cider and dessert apples and using water from the farm’s natural spring, every drop is produced from 100% pressed juice, not concentrate. The result is immensely refreshing and imparts a champagne like sparkle. There’s a tantalising range of traditional, blush and pear ciders to enjoy, and for the lovers of soft drinks, there are pure apple juices combined with Elderflower, Raspberry, Cranberry, Orange and Lemon. There’s even a spiced Wassail which is traditionally served warm, perfect for an evening barbecue.
Fancy something a little different? Give this new range a try and enjoy a little piece of the Cornish countryside.
